Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

  1. Green Colo Ltd is the trading name of FareHost

    1. This Acceptable Use Policy document, including the following list of Prohibited Activities, is an integral part of your Agreement with Green Colo Limited. If you engage in any of the activities prohibited by this AUP document Green Colo Limited may suspend or in serious cases terminate your account

    2. Green Colo Limited's Acceptable Use Policy is designed to help protect the Internet from illegal and malicious activities. The Policy is a non-exclusive list of the actions prohibited by Green Colo Limited

    3. Prohibited Uses of Green Colo Limited Systems and Services:

      1. Sending Unsolicited Commercial Email ("UCE", "spam"). The sending of any form of Unsolicited Bulk Email through Green Colo Limited's network is prohibited;
      2. Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of UK law is prohibited. This includes, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right used without proper authorization, and material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws;
      3. Running Incorrectly managed Mailing Lists. Subscribing email addresses to any mailing list without the express and verifiable permission of the email address owner;
      4. Unauthorized attempts by a customer to gain access to any other account or computer system that they do not have permission to access;
      5. Knowingly engage in any activities designed to harass, or that will cause a denial-of-service;

  2. Green Colo Ltd Response:

    1. Green Colo Ltd aims to deal with any miss-use of its service with quick, effective interruption of the violation. As far as possible Green Colo Ltd will not limit or prevent any other correct and legal uses of the system during this suspension.;
    2. Service will normally be resumed once the issue is resolved to Green Colo Ltd’s satisfaction.;
    3. Repeat violations may result in a reasonable re-connection fee, serious repeate offenders will have their agreement terminated.;
    4. Green Colo Ltd does not prohibit the use of its service for any legal and moral activities, nor operate a Fair Usage Policy.;
